Consider and act upon an ordinance of the City of Celina, Texas, fixing and levying municipal Ad Valorem taxes for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2020, and ending September 30, 2021, at a rate of $.645000 per one hundred dollars ($100.00) assessed valuation on all taxable property within the corporate limits of the city; this tax rate will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate; the tax rate will effectively be raised by 3.5% and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000.00 home by approximately -$1.
